How often should I wash my hair extensions?

We recommend that extensions is washed at least one per week for optimal cleaning and moisturizing. These extensions should be washed with a moisturizing sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner that will ensure the hair won’t dry out.

 

How is the length of hair extensions measured ?

Our bundles are measured by their length when straight. Due to the kinky nature of our Kinky Kinky, Kinky Curly, and Kinky Coily Hair you will experience shrinkage.

 

What is the quality of the hair extensions?

Our hair extensions is the highest quality in the market. The hair is 100% single donor virgin hair. 

 

Can I color this hair?

Yes, Malaika Hair can be bleached or dyed to any color. Hair should be colored prior to installation. Do not color hair after installation. Bleaching hair or using color with harsh chemicals in it can weaken the shaft and loosen curly pattern. Hair that has been colored will need a little extra attention when maintaining it. Our hair only come in their natural and unaltered color.

 

Can I straighten this hair?

Yes, you can straighten this hair but remember to use heat protected because this is just like our own natural hair and is susceptible to heat damage and loss of curl pattern.

 

Can I wear this hair to go swimming in salt water or chlorine water?

Yes, you can swim in this hair. We recommend wearing a snug-fitted swim cap to protect the hair while swimming.

 

What product should be used to seal the wefts?

We recommend using Dritz Fray Check to seal wefts.

 

How many bundles do I need?

We recommend two bundles for lengths under 18″ and three bundles for lengths above 18″ to achieve desired fullness.

 

How long does it last?

The expectant life of the hair is solely dependent on the care and daily routine you provide to your install.

 

What the return policy or exchange policy?

We will not offer refunds on our products, but will offer exchange or store credit within the first five (5) days of receipt of orders if clients receive a product that is defective.

Before any exchange, store credit or replacement hair is honored, we must receive the hair back in our possession to inspect and determine its quality. We reserve all rights to decide whether the product(s) are in fact defective. We do not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges if customer processes the hair in any manner (coloring, lifting, etc).

 

EXCHANGES (1-2 WEEK PROCESSING TIME)

Costumers are responsible for all shipping charges associated with an exchange if the correct item was received. Issues concerning length and color variation of the hair are not valid reasons for an exchange. Products that have been untied, washed, installed, and/or tampered with are not eligible for an exchange.

How do I make an Exchange/Return?

Customers will email customercare@MalaikaHair.com  for assist with product  issues. All inquiry will be responded to within 24 to 48 Business hours.

What are your delivery standards?

Orders will be processed within 1-10 business days (3-12 business days during sale/holiday time frames).  Weekends and holidays do not count as business days. Once orders are processed customers will receive an email notification that it has been shipped.

USPS U.S. DOMESTIC ORDERS (1-3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PROCESSING TIME)

We will use USPS Priority Mail on all orders placed within the United State. We are not responsible for any shipping/delivery delays. If orders have already shipped and customer contacts us with an address change, customers are responsible for the additional shipping charges. Abandoned and refused packages will not be refunded.  Packages returned to sender due to inability to sign or retrieve from post office will result in additional shipping charges.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that he or she enters the shipping address correctly.
